      <title>The Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion</title>

      <description>Această conferinţă a fost în principal o reacţie la necesitatea tot mai stringentă a unei noi mişcări de sănătate publică în toată lumea. Discuţiile s-au centrat asupra nevoilor din ţările industrializate, dar au luat în considerare şi probleme similare din alte zone. S-a bazat pe progresul înregistrat prin Declaraţia privind Îngrijirile Medicale Primare de la Alma-Ata, pe documentul „Obiective privind sănătatea pentru toţi” al Organizaţiei Mondiale a Sănătăţii, precum şi pe o dezbatere recentă la Adunarea Mondială a Sănătăţii pe tema acţiunii intersectoriale pentru sănătate.</description>

Proiectul s-a soldat direct cu instruirea a peste 5.000 de persoane &amp;icirc;n toată Europa şi este &amp;icirc;ncă &amp;icirc;n derulare &amp;icirc;n c&amp;acirc;teva ţări.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Aceste riscuri, legate de proiectarea, organizarea şi gestionarea muncii, precum şi de contextul economic şi social al muncii, induc un nivel &amp;icirc;nalt de stres şi pot duce la o deteriorare gravă a sănătăţii fizice şi mintale. &amp;Icirc;n 2005, peste 20% dintre lucrătorii din UE considerau că sănătatea le este ameninţată de stresul profesional. Raportul prezintă rezultatele prognozei experţilor &amp;icirc;n privinţa noilor riscuri psihosociale, precum şi analiza rezultatelor studiilor pe teme cheie identificate de experţi.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Anual, numai &amp;icirc;n cele 15 state membre UE iniţiale, sunt ucişi aproximativ 1.300 de lucrători, alţi 800.000 sunt accidentaţi, iar nenumăraţi angajaţi au o stare de sănătate afectată. Suferinţele umane provocate de accidente şi de afectarea stării de sănătate sunt &amp;icirc;ngrijorătoare pentru toţi cei implicaţi, iar dimensiunea acestora este imposibil de calculat.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
